The
Smile by Sneha Chatterjee
Something like the wonders of the night sky, it is to me,
Like the rays of the yellow light from the golden sun, so free,
So gorgeous, so glorious, captured my eyes, this beautiful sight,
When my inspiration of my life smiled, it was the brightest light.
They're the ones to whom I dedicate my devotion,
When they smile, I feel like I am swimming in the holy ocean,
I can sense that my lord is happy when they're happy,
When I see a beautiful smile in the lips of my mommy and daddy.
Parents
by Emilie Feasey (aged 9)
Mum was glum while Dad was sad.
They lost the Garmin and it all went bad.
They "kind of" misplaced your report card;
Your copy of The Tales of Beadle the Bard.
They let your sister get her way;
Your pocket money they forgot to pay;
And they tell you off on your own birthday!
But overall
- Parents -
They're not that bad...
Except...
THEY DRIVE YOU SLIGHTLY MAD!!!!
