Remember
by Heather Piare
(aged 11)
Can
you remember those that are gone?
Only when the stars are bright enough to
forget the sorrow.
And
do you grieve the life of man?
Only when there will be no tomorrow.
For
our sun will set, and our moon will rise,
and our stars and moon will fill
the skies.
Do
you remember those that are gone?
Only when the heartbreak dies.
Lost
Inside by Corale Hughes
Weeks
on end I suffered with the pain.
This was only the beginning.
The screaming
inside, I wanted the hurt to go.
Inside me a little girl wanting to get out.
I
attended school, still hurting, nothing was getting easier.
My arms hurt and
my stomach too.
Why couldn't I be normal?
One day, I just surrendered.
'Miss!'
I shouted, 'I can't do this anymore!'
I cried.
My mum came into school
and sobbed, 'Why?'
Then I knew, how much damage and hassle I had caused.
Not
just to me, but to my whole family.
I've bounced back now, and I've learnt
to cherish everything I've got, especially my mum.
She helped me through this.
My
mum's my hero and my guardian angel.
Now I'm left with scars,
Scarred for
Life.
Birthday
by Pranav Shukla (aged 13)
Today
is the day
Coz it's my birthday
I'm gonna cut the cake
I'm gonna celebrate
I'm
partying all day
Nobody is coming late
At 3pm I'm gonna close the gate
My
party is not gonna be the same
Coz the others' parties are lame
After tying
our shoe laces
We will play some football games
Then, Paintball in which
we will aim
Partying so late that we'll forget our names
Happy
Day by
Natalie (aged 12)
The
flowers they love to do Mexican waves,
the winds they sing to each other all
day long,
the sea it loves to play Chinese whispers
and finally the sun
makes your day a happy one.
The Tears Flow
by Hannah Hathorn (aged 11)
The
tears flow,
Your voice goes,
You fade into a distant land.
The wind howls,
The
rain falls,
And your life is overgrown.
I miss you,
I need you,
Your
life was my life too.
Come back please,
You're my hope,
Your life was
more than I had thought.
I love you,
You know that,
But just how do I
show it more?
Now you're gone,
I am alone,
I need your warmth to help
me grow.
Sweet pleasure,
You wonder,
My mother,
My future.
Where
do I go?
Where do I sleep?
Where is the shelter that I need?
I make a
wish,
I pray a prayer,
In hope that one day I shall find,
That warmth
that once was full,
That life that used to be you.
Strange
Poem by Natalie (aged 12)
I
love you more than umpler lumpers,
Though I do not like plumpers.
They are
yucky,
Though they are lucky,
They are very sour,
But you have to eat
them on the hour.
I hope you like my poem,
Though it keeps on going.
A
Little Word by
Molly Meredith (aged 12)
This
nine letter word that means a lot
Was too important to end with a dot.
It
may seem like a little word
But has the power to soar like a bird,
A bird
flying high,
Up in the sky.
This word is not a lie,
It is a swear
That
should never tear,
It should always be there
Friendship
Love
Our Way by Emily Schofield
Beating
quickly
Matching yours
Our hearts are together
To see your appearance
To
touch your hand
The world dissolves around us
I sink deeply
In
your eyes
Like an ocean of blue
What we have
Will never change
My
heart, your heart
A never ending story
Always my darling
Forever
in my heart
The
Angry Kid by
Amie Carter (aged 11)
Nobody
sees my brother any more,
all you see is the damage they caused.
He only
tried to help this kid,
when others would have run and hid.
They left his
ear beyond repair.
He bravely said, "I've Got A Spare."
Then came
fits that stopped him dead,
so anger started to fill Mum's head.
Dad drank
more to hide his pain,
he's stopped that now, his back to SaNe!
We
moved our home,
new schools for all,
now he battles his own turmoil.
Despite
all this he taught me well,
so I never go through hell.
"Stand Your
Ground, Don't Ever Back Down.
Your Better Of Dead If You Can't Hold Your Head."
From
this came me, for all to see,
he's made me everything he wanted to be!
I
wish you could see my brother at home,
he's funny, he's loud, I'm really a
clone!
But all
you see is this angry kid.
With his head full of fear so no one can hear,
his
pride won't let anyone near.
I
asked him once, if he'd do the same,
if he had that time again.
"Of
Course I Would, Without A Doubt,
I Do What's Right To Sleep At Night,
It's
Made Me Strong, So It Wasn't In Vain,
For That Alone I'd Do It Again."
I
write this now, to make you see,
he's so much more than he lets himself be.
I hope one day he'll swallow his pride,
and let out the trust he locked
inside.
I only want to set him free,
just need some help to find the key.
I
want him back where he should be,
my big bro stood proud with me!
He
Didn't Show Up by Hannah Kidder
In
my room dressed up so nice not a crease in my dress
I thought to myself, I
hope I don't look like a mess.
My date was supposed to be coming at the stroke
of seven.
I have a sad feeling that he is running late since it's eleven.
I
am running around finishing the last details for my hair.
Unaware that my hair
was on fire from the straightening iron.
I blow out the flames, tiptoeing to
my shoes left on the bathroom floor.
I felt like a waddling penguin, leaping
back and forth
I was almost surprised when I looked into the mirror and there
I found a pimple right above my eye.
I
guess it just means time will tell.
Just then I got a call from Mel.
She
was wondering have I heard from Robert any time soon.
I looked outside at the
gleaming moon.
I was getting tired feeling so sad that Robert didn't come at
all.
I wish I could have gone to the Ball.
I was such a pretty lady waiting
for my lad.
I was so mad that my handsome fellow left me to weep to my sadly
sorrows.
If only Robert could come any time soon, I would be on my way dancing
to the Ball.
I walked to the end of the hall.
I
sat there sighing
I was implying that Robert left me on my date night.
I
wish he could have been perfectly polite taking me to dance all dressed in white.
I
guess I will just have to end the evening.
If only I wasn't so blue, I should
hung out with Mel and my crew.
My
Best Friend by Ayla (aged 11)
My
best friend,
Is random,
Funny,
And
Loyal,
My best Friend,
Has
laughing fits,
And days where she is sad
But she moves on,
Though life
is hard,
She jumps back up.
My
best friend
Is trustworthy,
Awesome and Honest,
But most of all she's
my friend,
My Very Best
Fantasy
to Reality by Elena del Rodriguez Araujo
Twisted vines upon the moon shines,
towering trees are entwined
guardians
of all fortresses
a forest enchanted and cursed
no lust or peace exists
there,
pure nothingness and emptiness is pure imagination,
all fears exist
in superstition,
all fears exist in thoughts,
when really reality has no
fear
only minds too close together
to know the difference between fantasy
and reality
Not
Any More by Ayla (aged 11)
Sweet
Heart I cannot wait any longer,
You take it much to slow,
Darling it's been
too long now,
You have just left it alone,
No,
That's not the way to
do it, my love,
No, you can't do that,
Why don't you just do it like this?
No,
It's
taking forever,
We cannot wait any more,
Sweetie!,
No,
This is just
not right
My
Street by Raidah Zreika
Highway,
highway busy on the road
like a bus that never stops
beep beep beep beep
as fast as sound going fast and loud
In the morning and night
like
sounds that never stop
when there are no more cars
it feels so good and
peaceful
When the noise returns,
like a washing machine that whirs
the trucks, buses, all of them come,
it's like wishy-washy and noisy all
of the time
Words,
Speaking No Truth by Ayla (aged 11)
Lies,
All
the time in relationships,
It's always happening,
Just not honest,
Lying
to each other,
Not being truthful,
Telling wrong things to each other,
Just
lies
My
Dog by Dilan
My
dear pet Blacky
he makes me happy
When
his is hungry,
he wags his black and white tail
like a fish out of the water
He
can play fetch because
he is fit and strong,
He
can play dead like a
fallen log in the park
He
makes me laugh when
he tries catching his tail
and always fails
My
dear pet Blacky
he makes my happy.
Karma
by Ayla (aged 11)
Karma
is best described as revenge or repaying,
When you do something sinful,
Karma
comes around,
And gets revenge,
When you do something Awesome,
Karma
comes around,
And gives you something good!
You
and Me by Ayla
(aged 11)
People
think I can't talk to you,
Just because you can't speak,
People think I
can't be your friend,
Just because you can't do the things that average friends
do.
But I know
I can,
Of course I can.
You are my Friend,
I can talk to you.
You
are my horse,
And we communicate,
Through many different ways,
And though
different to many friends,
We connect
And become one.
Depression
by Ayla (aged 11)
Depression
is just unhappiness,
But overly exaggerated.
Depression is just misery,
But
viewed in a worse way.
Depression means you're sad,
But I think you can
overcome it!
Compatibility
by Ayla (aged 11)
I
question compatibility,
They think it gives you a relationship,
But I think
you need only one connection.
What
does it matter...
If you are different?
If you live in a different place?
If
you like different things?
My friends and I are different
But we get along
just the same
New
Beginning by Cassandra (aged 13)
Tonight, I washed my face with tears
Felt the hot prick of water in my
eyes
The trickle of the tiny stream
Making its way down my face.
Tonight, I stared at the stars dancing in the sky
Saw the moon shining down
on me,
The same moon you could see
Watching over you and me.
Tonight, I cleared my mind of the past
Freed myself from the chains
That
I had let hold me down,
Exalting as I tossed them away.
Tonight,
I started a new beginning
Held onto you as the old me faded away,
The
wind carrying it, taking it to a distant land
Knowing who I am now, knowing
who we are.
City
Of Dreaming Spires by Sapphire Hughes (aged
12)
It's
called the city of dreaming spires, look up and you'll know why
The harmonious
architecture, ogling down from the sky
With arguably the best opportunity
available, you can find what your looking for
Making you think of all who
walked the university corridors before
So yes, there are swanky restaurants,
cafes and huge book shops
But it's the colleges, the museums and the history
that comes up tops
It may be the place to come for a Saturday at the cinema,
or a shopping spree
But escaping the hustle and bustle, reaching the real
Oxford, is free
Strolling round the city centre, it gives you a sense of the
new
But that all seems a lie, when you discover what is really true
It's
not that I don't enjoy the theatre, there are musicals and shows I love to see
But I look at the further education I could have, where in my future I could be
Living in London would be great, with my red convertible and successful career
That is in years to come though, as for now, I'm happy here.
Friendship
by Charlotte Nelson
Friendship is something you cannot buy,
but a friendship cannot fly.
Lovely
days out with your best mates
and trying to decide the dates.
Friendship
isn't always sweet
but people never always like a treat.
Friends can stab
you in the back
but people can always get back on the right track.
Friendship is like love as it cannot grow on trees,
some friendships can be
up and down like buzzy bees.
So when you're in a good friendship don't throw
it away,
keep it and let it be safe for May.
Lonesome
by Zahraa Himdan (aged 12)
No one understands me in this blank and lonely world,
I would say anything
to make my voice be heard,
As much as I try, as much knowledge I gain,
Still I feel the same old horrid pain,
A grain of sand in the Sahara Desert
is the way I feel,
A knot in a straight line, a mud puddle in a clear fluid,
A scream in silence, pollution in the pure,
I have looked everywhere and yet
not found a cure,
I gaze upon those happy successful in their lives,
When
my life is lonely and always full of cries,
I feel wrong as if I wasn't meant
to be,
Like my life was a mistake, an error in humanity.
What
Will I Be When I Grow Up? by Beth Fleming (aged 11)
What will I be
When I grow up?
Nobody knows,
Nobody tells.
And if you don't,
What shall you do?
I'm one of those!
Where should
I go?
What should I do?
If you don't know,
Where will you be?
When the time comes
For me to be
At work?
A
Land Not So Far Away by Sapphire Hughes (aged 12)
Egypt,
Spain and Bulgaria, all exotic countries far away
That may suit you, but it's
not for me, with my precious England I'll stay
A tour of New York or a trip
to a Hawaiian waterfall,
But if I want to see something exquisite, I don't
have to travel far at all
Some may like a sunny beach, or a day of African
touring
But I've got Britain, with its hidden history, which is far from boring
A getaway to Italy, cool ocean skimming your hips
But I'm happy here, eating
fish & chips
Home of the roast dinner, scones with clotted cream
All
of this, and they want Turkey, Australia; England's my dream
You may stand
next to the Arc De Triomphe
But when I see the White Cliffs of Dover
I
live my dream again, over and over
We've got beaches, as cold and grey as
they may be
However much you snigger, they'll always be beautiful to me.
Watching
by Hayley and Georgia (aged 13 and 10)
The wind was sweeping
through my hair
that's when I knew
someone
was watching over me
but who could it be?
Dark
Shield by Claire Borecki (aged 12)
Five white fingers
So thin, so light
In the darkness that seeps
From the night through
Little cracks in the windows
Caress the keys, cajole
them
Till they tame to the wild heart.
Fingers flash faster now, smooth
A boat on calm seas
The song of the doves rowing wings
Of flower fields
rolling as
The wind whistles mournfully
Through the grass
Of a waterfall
pouring
Crystal cold white spray reaching up
Surrounds your heart with
peaceful longing
Forms a shield of passion
Clearing the darkness,
Pushing it back out the windows.
Me
by Phoenix Leif Atkins
Phoenix
is my name
Humour is what I've got
Obedient I am (sometimes)
Everyday I sing and dance
Nice and beautiful indeed
I
absolutely love tigers
X-ray's are really freaky
Levitate
I cannot
Electrify either
I absolutely love tigers
Feathers
are really pretty
A person is a lie
Together we can
make this work!
Kittens are really cute
Inside my head I
always picture me
Nice and pretty I am indeed
Saranne is
my BFF forever!
Dance
by JDW
Come on lets dance....
leap and spin and prance around
until your knees drop to the
ground.
Jingly
jingles on your feet
come on and dance to the beat.
The stunning smooth
swirling street dancers,
grooving to the beat
Come on and move your feet!
Family
by Emma Scanlan (aged 12)
Mum and Dad
Sister and
Brother
Grandma and Grandad
Uncle and Aunty
Nieces and Nephews!
Cosy and safe
Lovely and warm
Special and loved
Joyful and happy
Comfortable and calm!
Together forever
and ever and ever
through
good times
and bad times.
Family is my life!
Don't
Leave Me To Die by Maria Habiague (aged 10)
I
loved you
And you turned
your back on me.
I stopped your tears
But you never stopped mine.
The arguments
The hate
The bad times we
had
I loved you
And you neglected me.
Then
came the day
The cancer kicked in.
My heart stopped beating
and you
were nowhere.
Why would you do this?
Why'd you leave me to die?
Where
were you
when I needed you
more than I ever had before?
Stop the slaughter
and pain.
Violets
and Roses by
Paige Hardy (aged 13)
Roses
are red
Violets are blue
Every minute
I think of you
The roses
may die and the violets may too
but until that day I will always love you
One day he will come with violets and roses
And I won't leave until he proposes
This
Feeling by Sapphire Hughes (aged 12)
I
keep getting this feeling, and if I describe it to you
Will you tell me what
is happening and will you tell me what to do?
I miss you, though you run through
my mind
Those moments when we look at each other; they are perfectly timed
I worry what you think of me, whether you feel the same
Because this isn't
a joke, a prank, a game
You could be my answer, my prize, my solution
When you're here, there is peace, no war, no pollution
Thinking about my future,
I haven't thought it through
But all I want to know is that I want to be with
you
People say that this won't last long, it's a draft that won't be saved
They're wrong, I feel so special every time you smile, look, wave
One day
we will walk together, into the future, my hand in yours
This feeling I'm
getting, it's filling my soul, coming out of my pores
Can you not see, this
message in the sky above
I think this feeling could well be love.
Flowers
by
Courtney Heath (aged 11)
Flowers
are roses
Flowers are love.
Flowers
are signs
Signs of different things.
Flowers
are everywhere
and everywhere they will stay.
Flowers
are meanings
Meanings of happiness and sadness.
Flowers
are everywhere
Everywhere they will stay.
Out
With the New by Sapphire Hughes
Stuffing the radio under
my pillow, I remember doing that in my past
But all I hear now is different
music, lyrical madness which is much too fast
Radio Caroline's songs slithering
through my pillow, how I miss the thrill
Dancing at the party, it didn't matter
then whether or not you had skill
In my day, we all liked the same music,
we all had good taste
But where has the excellent music of my childhood gone
now?
It seems like such a waste
All
the lyrics made sense back then, you could relate to the musician
All the
girls wanted to meet the male bands, it was their ambition
Whether you were
a rocker or a mod, the sound of The Kinks still filled your ears
That kind
of music made your worries disappear, and it got rid of your fears
Years passed
though, and it all got thrown away
And it was all forgotten, left astray
There was nothing to feel good about anymore
There was nothing to dance to,
nothing to go out for
It makes me sad to think that maybe the fans have moved
on, too
That maybe they are enjoying this; the new
But while new music
is considered winning
I'm still here, with my records, slowly spinning.
Those
were the days, Sapphire - RS
Friendship
by Madison Coghlan
(aged 10)
Friendship
is a key
If you lose it, it breaks
You look and look to find it so
You can mend it before
It's too late
But sometimes
It's in that place
you can't see
When you're lucky
It's right in front of you
Can't you
see?
Apple
by Georgia (aged 12)
The
apple falls slowly from the tree
While I'm trying to hide my tears
You
see them as drops of dew in the morning
But the apple has no fears
The
apple has a lonely life
Like some of us I see,
It's red and ripe and juicy,
Saying, "As if you could outsmart me."
But
a person comes along,
Waiting for food,
It sees the big apple
And
after it eats, says, "I've outsmarted you dude."
But
this story has to end,
Or poem I should say,
And by the end of this,
We're together again, Yay!
Let
Peace Dwell by Sapphire Hughes (aged 12)
Once
upon a time, Earth was calm and peace ridden
There was no such thing as racism
and all violence was hidden
But slowly and without notice, our world began
to die
All of God's creation ruined, and he began to cry
Wars between
countries began to commence
Enemies were created and there were feuds that
made no sense
You woke up everyday, wondering whether there would be another
tomorrow
No one cared if you were dead, no such thing as sorrow
Our wildlife
disappearing, but no one wrote a letter of concern
Global warming hit us,
our environment starting to burn
I think that people should realise is that
this is not much fun
So fill the cracks of Earth, and let us come together,
as one.
Shadowy
Death by Logan Warner (aged 10)
spidery fingers lick graves
twilight bodies awakened lives
shadows
steal my living heart
life slowly seeps from my body
dying words leap
from me
"I am here," gasps the dying breath
My
Dog by Phoebe Piper (aged 10)
my dog lies on the bed
for when the needle goes in
my dog goes into the fire
I will never see
her again
Don't
Look At Me by Sapphire Hughes (aged 12)
(This
poem is about anorexia and is aimed at people that are self concious about their
body.They should realise the consequences.)
I
stand in front of the mirror, staring at that thing looking back at me
I'm
trapped in this ballooned, fat body, I wish I was free
When I see my reflection,
my face wrinkles in disgust
Sort it out, I said to myself, you must
My
clothes became big but my body looked no smaller
Becoming pale and interesting,
losing my colour
Whatever wacky diet, whatever exercise routine
Nothing
worked, life was being mean
My family worried, but I didn't care what they
thought
Funny pills and exercise machines, all of them I bought
Running
through the town, my body stopped
I only heard life for a few seconds after
that and my heart had been chopped.
Tell
by Annesti Meets (aged 13)
I
get it right to miss somebody unknown really bad.
It is weird of course but
it happens regularly, it makes me sad.
I don't know if it is of sad love stories
or
of people that didn't have a nice life or anything of that.
I know
for sure that this 'miss' is true
It is sad because I only want to woe
It is awkward this longing for somebody it surely is true
but can I tell
you something?
The worst is I don't even know this person whom I miss so
bad.
Maybe it is a movie I saw
one that wants to make you roar.
For you know what he wanted to say
but he thought to himself 'not today'
then tomorrow when he tries again
she doesn't want to listen to his
gen
and then in his heart he seems ripped apart
for she was the one he
loved so dearly
the one he held if only she wouldn't be so,
but now he
didn't tell her and he is wooing
his tears are enough to fill a Boeing
so now I hope you hear that it is important
to tell somebody how you feel
it will take control of your heart's steering wheel!
Alice's
Deep Dark Hole by Jayden Jacobi (aged 10)
I open the gate to anger and depression as I see the
Lost
and tormented souls who live there. Thank goodness
I haven't fallen into
Alice's deep dark hole that lies in this place.
Empty by Johanna Tuthill (aged 12)
Colors fade as the breath escapes my lips,
My head pounds, my whole
world seems to dip.
My lips tremble noticeably when the news hits my
ears,
I try to stay strong when I face my biggest fears.
My full
voice disappears, as I fall to the ground,
I've never known such grief could
ever be found.
I know there's no recovery, there's never been before.
Nothingness inside me - a chill deep in my core.
I want to yell and scream,
or even punch and kick,
Breathing deeply, trembling greatly, I say the world
that's in my head:
Sick.
You
by Sapphire Hughes (aged 12)
It
is where you are in society that makes you who you are
You could be seen
as normal and innocent, or unusual and bizarre
Imagine being looked at from
other people's eyes, what would they see?
Would they see someone trapped in
their own body, or someone worryless and free?
Is it the people you go around
with, or the people you don't?
Is it the challenges you are willing to do,
or the worrying things you won't?
You could be judged by skin colour, hair,
facial features or what's inside your heart
But it isn't about what you look
like, it's your personality that is the best part
But who do you live your
life for, is it you or the people in your world?
Are all your days the same,
or are they put in a blender and twirled?
Do you have ambitions and dreams,
do you even care what the future holds?
Do you organise your time carefully,
or do you wait for life to unfold?
Is the sky blue for you every day, or does
a shadow hang over you?
Do you forget what happened yesterday, or do you remember
every wind that ever blew?
Remind yourself everyday, don't change for anyone
at all
Because if you do, be prepared for the fall.
The
Dream by Lucy
Needham (aged 13)
I dreamed a dream so far away,
In this dream there is no day,
The
darkness comes but never goes,
I wish that I had never chose,
The dream
so far away.
Until
Tomorrow by Olivia Rix (aged 11)
Diamonds
set stuck in the moonlight's arms
And we get lost in the midnight charms
Small sharp pins lay embedded in the trees
And the chains of my heart are
set free by your keys
Flowers and fairy dust sprinkle the ground
And the
feel of your embrace is all around
The soft dew of the grass
Hits your
face of glass
As the sun sets on our mountain top
The moon flies away
and the diamonds pop
I will meet you tomorrow in the same spot
Even though
other people can't see you
It's because you're too good to be true
I
love you a lot
No
Worries by Sapphire Hughes (aged 12)
Just
enjoy the moment, don't let anything ruin your day
Just use the time you have,
before it goes away
Sit next to the fire, watch the blaze flicker and die
Or shut your eyes and dream, pretend that you can fly
Smile and watch the
moon fade into the dark
Go for a walk and forget everything, carve your name
in a tree and leave a mark
Sing your heart out and hum the tune
Spoil
the moment by screaming in a silent room
Grab someone's hand and skip into
the sunset
Run into the rain and get soaking wet
Just do what I tell you,
and you'll be fine
Enjoy the wine.
What
I Would Do For You by Sapphire Hughes (aged 11)
I
would climb over the sun for you, the blazing heat scorching me
I would go
a day without my glasses so I couldn't see
I would trudge my way up Mount
Everest and sleep my way through the cold
I would travel around the Mediterranean
until I got old
I would walk to Africa and back until my feet were sore and
bleeding
I would run marathons everyday until I needed false teeth and my
hairline was receding
I would jump in the river and swim for miles on end
I would run away from my family and leave my closest friend
I would walk to
the nearest crater and collect you a falling star
To find buried treasure,
I would ride a camel to lands afar
What you need to realise is that I would
do anything for you
And that I will always love you, no matter what you do.
Them
Boys by Kayla Sweeney (aged 10)
Hard, rocks, that's what
makes them not pop
Not blue mushy creatures,
More like ROCKY blue creatures
But you know us girls, and them boys
I
Will Never Leave You by Alisha (aged 11)
I'll never get you out,
I simply don't know how
in fact I'm thinking of you right about now
You're everything I need and everything to me
you know exactly who you are
and what you want to be
you always make me smile just by being there
I hope you know how much I really do care
Every time I think of you my stomach
seems to twist
This is why I love you, I've made a huge list
The list
goes on forever and never will it end
neither will our relationship you'll
always be my friend
Us
Girls by Gianna Farese (aged 10)
Soft,
smushy, not hard but mushy are
Us girls.
We have the best hair of them
all.
We love to spend time at the mall.
We love to sing, hey we do it
all.
When we dance the chorus sings
You even hear the church bells ring.
Us girls, we love softness and cuddle PJs.
We never rock out to DJs.
We simple fold a napkin in our lap,
keep a straight face and try not
to laugh.
Yes,
it's true we do our nails but, hey you boys do too.
Us girls, we are a piece
of work
don't you see we never let another one be?
Even when we're in
the bathroom, indisposed or doing hair
Us girls we stick together here and
there.
US GIRLS!!
I
Will Always Be There by Alisha (aged 11)
I will always be there for you,
I am your little friend
I will
always be in love with you,
all the way till the end
I
will always care for you,
I will never leave...
you are one person,
I can never deceive
I
shall go off to sleep
much before you think,
maybe I'm not with you,
the next second you blink
I will love you more & more
with each
rising day
I will always be there for you
even if we are far away
He
Still Loves Me by Alisha (aged 11)
For
though I hope he loves me
For he has kissed my mouth
Thought I am like
a stricken bird
who cannot reach the south.
Tonight
I know he loves me
And my heart is very glad
for his kiss was just as
wonderful
As all the dreams I've had
I
Love You by Alisha (aged 11)
You
dry the tears that fall from my eyes.
You bring me sunshine to brighten my
sky.
You rescue me when I'm scared and alone
And take my hand to lead
me home.
No matter
the miles that keep us apart
We're always together in each other's hearts
Sometimes we take for granted, I fear,
The ones who are so close and dear.
We
get so caught up in life and things we must do
Sometimes we forget to stop
and say I love you.
If ever you felt I forgot or didn't care
Let me stop
right now, my true feelings I'll share
You're the sun in my sky, the
bed where I lie.
You're the home where I'm safe, the field where I play.
You're everything I am, everything I do.
So what I am saying is I LOVE YOU
Relationship
by Alisha (aged
11)
I thought of
you today but that's nothing new
I thought about you yesterday and the day
before that too
For every day good or bad you'll always be in my head
I hope you've understood every word I've said
This isn't just a joke or a
silly lie
I'd never do anything to make you wanna cry
I really do love
you and everything you are
I hope this relationship gets really far
No
Love Compared by Mikayla (aged 12)
Your
love is one to die for
I would cherish it all my life
I don't care what
anyone else may say
You're the one for me
You may love me, but it's no
love compared to mine
The way you laugh is so comforting to my soul
Your
eyes are a story well told
Yes you have your moment, so quirky and strange
But I love you the way you are
If you don't love me what is the point in living
This is my heart, to you I'm giving
You may love me, but it's no love compared
to mine
Those
People by Sapphire Hughes (aged 11)
They are the ones who scare
me, who make me wake up in the night
They are the people who might hurt me,
who might make me see the light
They are the ones who are in disguise
Vibrant clothes covering their bodies and contact lenses on their eyes
It
can happen to anyone and it can happen anywhere
They might do it alone, or
together, that horrid pair.
Movies
by Charlotte N
The best
movies can be absolutely brilliant or in other words gob smacking!
But sometimes
they can be sad or in other words very tearful.
The best movie I have ever
seen is probably Bridget Jones Diary
It's so good because of the funniest
parts
Like when she leaves Daniel and says I'd rather be 10 miles away for
you
plus the film's good because it's got a 4 star rating but I absolutely
love the film I am the most biggest fan ever!
Some films were scary or in
other words nail biting
And some movies aren't scary at all
But you very
rarely come across one of them.
I personal prefer the ones which aren't scary
and the soppy ones but I like to keep with these
My
Pets by Charlotte N
My pets were very special, they
were labs, I used to walk to school with them,
when i got to school everybody
used to say that my were dogs were really
CUTE.
I can remember the
time
when Bentle got dressed with tubeygrip
because he had a sore ear
and he couldn't stop itching it..
Then there was the time Breacon, me
and dad
went down to herring fleet and he couldn't stop bouncing
up and
down.
SO FUNNY!
But nobody realised how special they were to me
and we had to give them away!
I was in tears.
I miss them terribly!
My Perfect Family by Charlotte N
My family is the best I say, right let's start with dad,
the best dad
ever, the best dad a girl could ever wish for
but he's not just a dad, he's
like my big brother the way he loves me.
Then my mum, a very good mum
I say,
Sometimes she can get angry but she soon comes around,
she always
treats me to stuff that I really, really like.
She gives me kisses and she
leaves lip marks on
my cheeks!
Then my sister, well my best friend
but she feels like my sister,
we always play together and she always comes
to me when
she is upset
and I do the same, when I am upset
My
Best Friend by Katie Harding (aged 12)
My
Best Friend doesn't say much
My Best Friend is quite shy
My Best friend
is the very best
'Cause she makes my spirits fly
My
Best Friend's always there for me
My Best Friend's always there
So I wrote
this poem
To show her that I care
My
Best Friend by Jade Pateman (aged 10)
I've been friends with her
for eight years,
We've never had an argument
She has light brown curly
hair
And likes florescent colours
She's
sweet and kind
She's caring and loving
We'll always be friends
But
most of all...
She'll never let me down
Be
Mine by Buki Jones (aged 10)
Be mine for good,
Be mine forever,
I will always be yours,
So
you should always be mine.
You take my breath away,
With your shimmering
eyes,
Your lips so soft,
In the sparkling light.
Be mine for
good
Be mine forever,
Our love is true,
So please be mine!
