Children's Poetry Competition 2009

This year's theme is Heroes and Heroines.
The competition is open worldwide for 7 - 11 year olds writing in English.
There are lots of prizes - including a
First Prize of £250.

You can enter on your own or with your school and there are school prizes too.
The competition is being judged by Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, as well as award- winning poet John Agard and the Poetry Zone's own Roger Stevens.

The Competition runs from 10th September until October 10th.
