We'd love to see them and we'll publish the best! Allsorts Love and Friendship First Words for Young Poets Teen Scene Allsorts contains poems from 7 to 12 year olds. It's a general category. Love and Friendship is for 10 to 13 year olds. As well as poems about love and friendship it also contains more serious poems that are perhaps too "grown-up" for our younger readers in the Allsorts section. First Words is for 4 to 7 year olds. A well-made poem by a seven year old might appear in the Allsorts section. Teen Scene. All poems here are by 13 to 18 year olds. Any poems you send stay in these categories for a month or two. Then they go into our archive. After a year or so they are cleared out. Old Poems' Rest Home Poems by children 5 - 12 Love and Friendship Poems by 10 - 13 year olds Teen Poems' Rest Home Poems by teens 13 - 18 Please note. We have disbanded the original Poetry Zone archive. There were ten years' worth of children's poems there. And many people, as they've grown up, have asked for poems to be removed. Also - there were so many poems there it was making my laptop too heavy to carry. So, make sure, when you send us a poem, that you keep your own copy.
