What
Rhymes
With
Sneeze?
by Roger
Stevens (A&C Black)
Stuffed
with brilliant rhyming poems, this book is packed with fascinating facts about
how different kinds of rhyme work, and there's a bonus section full of tips and
tricks on how to write fantastic rhyming poems yourself.
How
to enter the competition
It's
very simple. Write a rhyming poem. The best five will win a copy of this book.
We will be looking for poems that use unusual rhymes, or
whose rhymes make us laugh. (Please... no cats with hats or dogs on logs.)
We will be looking for originality.
Your
poem can be any length and in any style, be serious, silly, sad or funny.
The best five will win a copy of this book. Those
poems and the best runners up will be published here in May. Do remember to give
your name, age and a postal address (this
could be the address of your school.)
